The story of Jesus' time on earth was written by a man named Mark. One of the scenes he describes is a father begging for his son's healing.
The father says, "...if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us."
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
That's how I feel about my faith. I do believe. But in the same breath: help my unbelief.
